Nowadays, the troubadours don't just speak of their victories; they have changed it by a electronic sound.
Cyrano de Bergerac and Bècquer don't write love poems any more, now they send short mkobile messages difficult to understand.
All these acts of gallantry, have been forgotten. It's very easy to blame other people of this situation. Many people blame to the fact that women are equated with men in many aspects, and by leaps and bounds. This is a very normal reaction among guys, since many of them are overwhelmed by the advance of women, it's very normal they feel like “ The deposed prince” of Miguel Delibes. And it's a way to get a shield to avoid gallantry as a custome.
And for many other people is the monotony of the marriage which makes the gallantry gestures disappear.
Even if you deny it, the truth is that we all are to be blamed. Whether we are male or female, do we all like to feel loved, cherished and desired? I bet you, the answer is yes.
It's like apples and pears, and it's not for falling into this topic so recurrent. These two fruits, although physically different to each other. Inside they have more similarities than they appear. Both fruits are fleshy inside, soft taste; but each one with its little nuances, marking the difference, and complementing each other.
Pear, with soft flavor, subtle and refreshing: and apple, with a touch of acidity, balanced by a delicately sweet flavor.
Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur, classic and singular liquor that, along with Grand Marnier and Benedictine, is one of the most exclusive liquors of France. It's a liquor made with Brillet Cognac, and Williams pears, which grow in the Alsace region, they are perfectly ripened pears, and Jean- Louis Brillet selected, these being, collected in the right point of ripeness.
Berentzen Apple Schnapps, classic german liquor, which gets the exact flavor of the fresh and ripenet fruit. This curious liquor, unlike other apple liquor that they too artifical, keeps perfect balance between taste and freshness, being slightly sweet.
Both characters have in common to be suitable for being drunk pure and combined in a cocktail.
And now, my proposal for this occasion. Regardless of you are a pear or an apple, ladies and gentlemen.
Ladies, what are you waiting for? Instead of waiting for the guys sitting to move tab, give them a lesson of gallantry. It begins by you. Treat them as you would like to be treated.
And for you to see them, I start the game, with this Teddy Bear'Tini; and the following story, of how the combination of Belle de Brillet Pear Liquor and Berentzen Apple Schnapps; rare liquors as they come; it can become a game of harmonic flavors, a game that will surprise you, main surpose of gallantries. And this cocktail is a perfect gift to tell you how special you are.
Teddy Bear'Tini, was created in 2002 at The Borough Hotel, in Edimburgh, Scotland; this cocktail appears in Diffordsguide #8, too. Publication created by Simon Difford, who has participated in the most aspects as far as the beverage market corcerns. And so it is best known Simon Difford, is as writer and editor.
Simon founded the CLASS Magazine, in 1997, which got the title bar style leader in UK. In 2001, Simon ceded the CLASS Magazine to William Reed, to engage launch his own publication, diffordsguide, http://www.diffordsguide.com/ , which is now in its ninth installment. Diffordsguide is considered one of the most widely recognized cocktails publications worldwide. As well, Simon Difford is one of the team members responsible for the creation of unique elderflower liqueur, St. Germain.
1 ½ oz, Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur, like the lady.
¾ oz, Berentzen Apple Schnapps, like the gentleman.
1 ½ oz, apple juice, like supplement to emphasize the gallantry.
A pinch of cinnamon, like secret and exotic supplement, to add a touch of mischief to the story.
And the preparation is as follows:
Add all the ingredients into the shaker with ice, shake and serve with double cast into chilles martini glass.
And so I conclude this post, but, with the next purpose: everybody bring out all your best clothes, you let your imagination runs free. And fill this world of gentlemen and damsels, ready to cheer it and its inhabitants wilh gallantries, that they need them so much.
